The aim of this magazine is to connect the communities of Hindu Kush, Himalaya, Karakorum and Pamir by providing them a common accessible platform for production and dissemination of knowledge.

We welcome articles and papers that have a lasting relevance; and are based on research and fieldwork. Articles and papers could be on any theme pertaining to the mountainous communities—their culture, languages, folklore, history, social and developmental issues; and political economy. We always encourage articles encompassing both praxis and theory.
